He is rather nosy and lazy, and has an enormous infatuation with his partner. He is very sensitive to criticism, and will fall into despair at the slightest insult. Both he and Ross are introduced when they are assigned to protect Edward Elric. In the 2003 anime, Brosh later appears in the rebellion against King Bradley, saving various characters from execution. In the manga, he appears again after Ross's apparent death. Though he is deeply saddened by the news, Ross feels it is for the best that he not know she is alive, as he has difficulty hiding his emotions.
When Roy Mustang begins waging an assault on Central, Brosh rushes into the city to provide assistance against the "demon" who supposedly killed Ross. However, he soon hears Ross broadcasting support for Mustang's coup, and recognizes her voice almost immediately. He later joins Mustang's resistance group and reunites with Ross, facing her in a torrent of tears.
Ross and Brosh were the ones who saved Russell Tringham and Fletcher Tringham from facing possible execution due to Russell attempting to pass themselves off as the Elric brothers in Central. They also aid Izumi Curtis with a small military unit in facing Frank Archer whose body had become part-automail, until Archer fled to the Führer's house, to try to save Bradley after hearing about the break-in.
