First of all, hi, i'm new here. I just finished watching the 2003 FullMetal Alchemist anime and i would like to share some thoughts about it. Note that i haven't watched Brotherhood or read the actual manga, so please if you want to  comment, no spoilers! First i would like to say that it was a good anime, but nothing more. Although the first half of the series was supposed to follow the plot of the manga, it was full of useless fillers, which frustrated me a lot and were very boring. The episodes that actually progressed the plot were very satisfying and showed a lot of potential. Since the end of the Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood anime in 2010, and even earlier, the fans have been asking the obvious question: When will a live action film be made, based on this epic story?

Being a film producer myself and having become a huge fan of the story during the past several years, I asked myself the same question.

In my opinion, FMA is at least as good as the Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings stories. In its own way, it tells a unique and timeless tale of good vs. evil, redemption and the human condition.

Hey everyone, I am a long time FMA fan and an indie filmmaker. A few years ago, I made a short with a couple little kids, entitled "Mother" You can find it on youtube, you may have even watched it before. Well, the boys have grown up and are still showing their love for the Elric brothers!

So, ever since Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood first came to DVD in America, I've been waiting for the boxset releases that would certainly follow. Complete Collection I was announced and I jumped at the chance to buy it, especially since it would be released just before the Anime Central Convention, so I could just buy it there. When I got to the con, no one was selling it for less than $60 and I hesitated because I knew I'd be able to find it cheaper elsewhere, but still, I couldn't let go of my desire to walk away from the convention with that boxset in my possession.

The Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood version (Japanese version) is my favorite version that my own opinion about it everyone as there own opinion agree. The Japanese version has more stuff that make it excite and the characters stories aren't the same in the American version.
