Role in the Film
On 8 November 1923, Adolf and the SA stormed a public meeting of 3,000 people in a beer hall in Munich. Interrupting Gustav Ritter von Kahr's speech, he announced that the national revolution had begun and declared the formation of a new government. Retiring to a back room, Hitler, with a handgun drawn, demanded the support of Kahr and other politicians. Hitler's forces initially succeeded in occupying the local Reichswehr and police headquarters, but Kahr and his cohorts quickly withdrew their support. Neither the army nor the state police joined forces with Hitler. The next day, Hitler and his followers marched from the beer hall to the Bavarian War Ministry to overthrow the Bavarian government, but the police dispersed them. Sixteen NSDAP members and four police officers were killed in the failed coup.
After the death of Dietlinde Eckhart, the Nazi party was dissolved and Hitler was considered a fugitive for war crimes.
- The planning of the Second World War started when Adolf Hitler joined the secret society called the Thule Society in 1919. It was in this group that he found the perverted beliefs that were later to lead him in his control of the German government.
- Hitler's first appearance in Fullmetal Alchemist franchise was actually before the Conqueror of Shamballa, since he appeared in Episode 29: The Untainted Child (2003 series). In a specific scene, Edward has a flashback to what he saw in the Gate, brief images will show the Olympics, American flags, Volkswagen cars, Joseph Stalin, Hitler and Gandhi. This could be considered a major foreshadowing, once near the end of the anime it will be reveled that the other side of the gate is in fact, our world.
- Because Adolf Hitler and King Bradley have so many similarities, it is theorized that Hitler may be the Earth version of Bradley from the world of Fullmetal Alchemist.
